Hello Tornados!  What a night last night!  We had some amazing swims, but more importantly the Tornado spirit was off the charts!!  It was a close meet, and although we came just a bit shy on points (Prov Downs 447 v Thornhill 393), the team spirit at the end of the pool during those final relays was unreal -- and we won many of them!!!  You guys are amazing!

It's hard to believe our season is wrapping up in just a few short weeks, but we have some busy days ahead!  Fortunately the largest meets are behind us, so the remaining three should be similar sized & timing to last night.  Please review below:

• Thursday's Meet @ The Reserve -- we are still missing a number of declarations in Swimtopia!  Please submit your declaration by 7 p.m. today so Coach Grace can work on the meet file!  
• Chick Fil-A Fun Friday -- per tradition, our 11+ swimmers will be walking to Chick Fil-A in Stonecrest on Friday after practice. The coaches will chaperone them walking there and back to the pavilion after.  If your swimmer would like to join, please send them to practice with money to purchase their own food.  We would love for our younger swimmers (with adult chaperones) to join in on the fun as well!  If swimmers and chaperones would like to meet the group at the pavilion to walk up or simply meet them there, they will depart the pavilion around 10:30 and expect to arrive at Chick Fil-A about 10:45.  We hope many of you will join in on the fun!
• Declare now for next week's meets -- Meet declarations for both of next week's meets are available on Swimtopia!  If you have not yet met your two-shift minimum, now is your chance to volunteer!
• Season-End Celebration -- Our season-end pool party celebration will be Friday, 7/1, from 5:30-9 at the pavilion -- we hope all families are able to join!  We will have dinner, awards, a DJ, swimming and more.  Dinner will be provided, but please bring beverages for your family.  RSVPs via Swimtopia are appreciated asap for planning purposes.
• All-Stars Declarations (ages 7+) -- Please declare your availability for all-stars (Saturday, 7/9 @ noon in Rock Hill) via Swimtopia asap!  This is a FUN end-of-season event, and we'd like to bring as many swimmers as possible.  Whether or not you think your swimmer will qualify, please submit your availability.  We never know who we might need to fill spots!
